  Turtles: Grace - Work hard and concentrate

  Grace has wowed us with her reading this week. She is blending sounds to read words and has loved using her knowledge in her writing. What a terrific turtle!

  Flamingos: Isabelle - Improve

  Isabelle has been really brave and is improving all the time. She now comes into school with a big smile and is joining in more and more in class. Well done, Isabelle!

  Sun Bears: Joe - Work hard and concentrate

  Joe can always be relied upon to make the right choices. He is a motivated learner and likes to do his best. Well done, Joe!

  Foxes: Anna - Work hard and concentrate

  Anna has shown great enthusiasm and determination in her maths this week and is always trying to do her very best. Well done, Anna!

  Badgers: Alfie - Imagine

  Alfie, we were blown away when we interviewed you in role as Ernest Shackelton, during our hot-seating this week - your enthusiasm and knowledge made it as if we were interviewing Shackleton himself!

  Toucans: Mateusz - Work hard and concentrate

  Mateusz is such a joy to have in Toucan class. He is always on task and focusing on his work and searches for ways to challenge himself. He enjoys learning and concentrates on what he should be doing. Keep it up!

  Sharks; Kayleigh - Don't give up

  Kayleigh has blown us away with her perseverance in all areas this week. She has been determined to do her best in all areas and even achieved 100% in her reading quiz. Amazing!

  Sport Cup: Dylan - Improve

  Dylan showed great determination in PE this week whilst learning the skills for Dodgeball. He kept on trying to improve his throwuing technique and showed great respect for his partner. Well done, Dylan!

  Turtles: Jacob - Work hard and concentrate

  Jacob has enjoyed his learning this week, following instructions carefully and being a great listener!

  Flamingos: Nila - Respect yourself and others

  Nila has shown real compassion for other members of Flamingo class. When anyone has needed it, she has comforted them without being asked. How very caring you are, Nila!

  Sun Bears: Kalen - Work hard and concentrate

  Kalen has had a fantastic hard working week. Kalen wrote a detailed 'Big Write', remembering to include adventurous adjectives. Well done!

  Foxes: Jack - Improve

  Jack has showed how he can actively edit and improve his English work, earning him a place on our best work wall!

  Badgers: Chayton - Work hard and concentrate

  Chay's smile and sense of humour brightens every day in Badgers' class! His letter written 'during a storm at sea' wowed us all!

  Toucans: Poppy - Imagine

  This week Poppy has been creative and innovative with her writing. She has shared her ideas with the class and enthusiastically approached  challenges!

  Sharks: Tom - Work hard and concentrate

  Tom has amazed me with his focus in English and Maths. He has really concentrated and has produced some super work. Well Done!

  Sport Cup: Edward - Work hard and concentrate

  Edward worked really hard in PE this week. He listened carefully to instructions and managed distractions around him to set a lovely example to his class mates when learning a new game. Well Done!

  Turtles; Ruby-Leigh - Respect yourself and others

  Ruby constantly thinks about her actions and how they impact upon others. She is helpful, kind and honest. What a great friend you are Ruby to all the Turtles.

  Flamingos: Oliver - Don't give up

  Oliver showed enormous perseverance with his learning. He found it tricky to draw a flamingo but showed real determination and didn't give up, He was so proud of the results.

  Sun Bears: Leo - Respect yourself and others

  Leo has been a kind and gentle friend helping our new Sun Bear Daisy settle into our class. Leo has explained all the routines of school life. Well done,Leo!

  Foxes: Ruby - Work hard and concentrate

  Ruby has shown an excellent hard working attitude towards her work. She is contributing great ideas on the carpet, especially during English.

  Badgers: Elijah - Improve

  What an amazing effort you have made this week to focus on your learning and contribute positively to discussions. We are so proud of you, Elijah, keep it up!

  Toucans: Ruby - Don't give up

  This week, Ruby has persevered with her place value work, even when she's found it tricky. She has shown determination and resilience and made real progress as a result!

  Sport Cup: Jessica - Try new things

  Jessica is new to the school and has fitted in beautifully to PE lessons. She worked especially well with her partner in dance this week and was even brave enough to demonstrate her move to the class. Well done, Jessica!

  Jacob has enjoyed trying lots of new things at school, whilst making excellent choices. You are a terrific role model for Turtles class, well done!

  Isabelle has settled into year 1 really well. She always listens and is focused on her learning, producing some excellent work. Well done!

  Sun Bears: Darcy - Try new things

  Darcy has had a fantastic start to year 2. She has tried lots of new things and she is enjoying having a go at everything. Well done Darcy!

  Sport Cup: Turtles Class - Try new things

  Wow! What a lovely troupe of turtles we have. Only the second day of school and their first ever PE lesson and they were amazing. They tried new things, enjoyed their learning and didn't give up!
