Welcome to Year 5 Doves' Class Page!

Welcome to the Summer Term and what a treat it has been to have days filled with literal as well as metaphorical sunshine so far! This half term, our Topic has been chosen by the children - the Plague! We are looking forward to slipping back in time to the 1660s across the curriculum, inspired by the time-slip in the wonderful Children of Winter.

My heart sings when the Doves ask for some independent reading time!! What a joy it is to see them relaxing with some great books, either with friends or lost in their own world, and sharing their reading with each other. I'm incredibly proud of you all for the journeys that you are on as readers!
