Our Big Write today was a portal story! We used the last page of the Gruffalo story. We continued the story by making the nut glow and transforming the mouse to a magical land! When the nut glowed again, it took the mouse back to the forest.

We created our own character from the Hairy Maclary books and wrote a story with them in!

Our Big Write was to re-write the story of the Gunpowder plot!

Our Big Write this week was to write a letter to the Zoo, asking for a pet. The children had to describe what sort of pet they wanted and what they didn't want!
