Artist in Residence

Our Artist in Residence Programme
 
Each year we set aside a budget to engage an artist to work with all pupils from Y1-6 to produce an art installation. This year we employed Matt Mackman who worked with the children to create 3D sculpture; incorporating the elements and representing our 4 houses: fire, air, water and earth. These are displayed in our reflection area. 
 
We hope to enhance our curriculum by providing this opportunity for our pupils to engage with an artist and create an installation. We also plan for this work to be displayed for our current pupils and the next generations to appreciate.We are working towards the Arts Mark accreditation.
