What can I do to support at home?

We are frequently asked by parents/carers what they can do to support their child during year 6. Well, there are a few key things that you can do to help-

• Times-tables rockstars- Each child has their own log-in and it is crucial they know all of their tables fluently. We suggest they spend 10 minutes a day on a device rehearsing their tables.
• Reading to an adult-reading fluency is key, the more children read, the better they will become.
• Spelling Shed- Each child has their own log-in and will have spelling activities set weekly. Please help by ensuring your child visits this site a few times a week to practise their spellings.
