    Caterpillars: Jude - Imagine

    Jude has been amazing during the preparation for Easter Enterprise. He has so enjoyed his learning. Jude has also responded with awe and wonder at the arrival of our chicks. What a week Jude!

    Bats: Rhys - Improve

    Rhys has taken big strides in reading, writing and spelling this half term. He is making a BIG STAR sized effort to improve and its great to reward him with a headteacher's cup for the whole holiday!

    Honey Bees: Oliver - Don't give up

    Oliver has really improved his attitude lately. He is giving 100% effort and persevering more and more. Keep it up next term Oliver!

    Huskies: Charlie - Work hard and concentrate

    Charlie has quietly got on with his work this week and has put in a great effort with everything. A great role-model, keep it up Charlie!

    Otters: Theo - Improve

    Theo has shown tremendous determination and effort to improve in maths and has made great leaps forward as a result. Great to see your confidence grow, Theo!

    Koalas: Tanya - Improve/Work hard and concentrate

    Tanya has amazed us with her superb effort in all subjects. She is making huge leaps forward with learning English and all of the Koalas have been impressed by what she knows. Well done Tanya!

    Panthers: Rosie - Work hard and concentrate

    Rosie enjoys having a go at new things. She takes responsibility for her learning and gives every lesson 100%. Well done Rosie.

    Sport Cup: Adam - Respect yourself and others

    Adam showed amazing team spirit during a team relay game. He worked with his team mates and enthusiastically cheered them on! Well done Adam!

    Caterpillars: Edward - Work hard and concentrate

    Eddie has been working hard to improve his reading. He has enjoyed his learning and has put in lots of effort to learn his sounds. Amazing effort Eddie!

    Bars: Joshua - Don't give up

    It has been great seeing Joshua make such positive steps in learning and attitude this half-term. He has realised he should have faith in himself to create great stories in 'Big Writing'.

    Honey Bees: George - Don't give up

    George has shown such an admirable 'can do' attitude. He is settling down to task more confidently without relying on others. He has achieved so much this term.

    Huskies: Oliver - Respect yourself and others

    Oliver will always be honest and is a really reflective Husky, he strives to learn more and improve. Well done Ollie.

    Otters; Sunny - Work hard and concentrate

    'Super Sunny' has brought boundless enthusiasm, cheerfulness and smiles to every rehearsal this week. You are in your element Sunny, and it shows, keep shining Sunny!

    Koalas: Mia - Improve

    Mia is steadily improving in maths lessons. This week she struggled with bar modelling, but didn't give up until she had completed all the work. Well done, Mia!

    Panthers: Katie - Improve

    Katie has striven to do her best in all areas and has made super progress in writing and maths. Well done, Katie!

    Sport Cup: Ralph - Respect yourself and others

    Ralph showed great team spirit in PE this week. He encouraged others in his team to do their best and was very helpful to Mr Larking at the end of the lesson. Well done Ralph

    Caterpillars: Angel - Respect yourself and others

    Angel has been learning with lots of different Caterpillars. Her confidence is growing daily and she readily helps others. Great effort Angel!

    Bats: Corley - Work hard and concentrate

    The standard of presentation in Corley's writing is always top quality. He is very conscientious when writing and this sets an excellent lead for others to follow.

    Honey Bees: Anna - Don't give up

    Amazing, astonishing Anna! Anna has steamed ahead in her subtraction work and showed terrific stamina and perseverance in her pirate story. Well done!

    Huskies: Bella - Work hard and concentrate

    Bella wrote an amazing newspaper report, using many powerful words and techniques for encouraging tension. We were 'blown away' with this. Well done and keep it up Bella!

    Otters: Neve - Work hard and concentrate

    Neve constantly strives to give her best in all aspects of school life, whether that be tackling a Maths challenge, writing a cracking explanation text or perfecting her line for the production. What a great role model!

    Koalas: Connie - Imagine

    Connie showed amazing imagination in English, writing a really effective and dramatic poem about the sinking of the Titanic. I was so impressed with the quality of her work

    Panthers: Tallulah - Don't give up

    Tallulah has really stuck at her learning. She has shown real resilience with her Maths and has made a huge improvement with her arithmetic. What a star!.

    Sport Cup: Sienna - Improve

    Sienna was a fantastic example to the Honey Bees when she helped Mrs Press demonstrate how to execute the finishing position in a gymnastics pose. She helped others in the class to improve their positions and take pride in their work. Well done Sienna - keep it up!

    Caterpillars: Oliver - Work hard and concentrate

    We have seen a huge improvement in Oliver's reading. He has put in the hours and enjoyed and taken pride in his progress. Keep it up Oliver!

    Bats: George - Respect yourself and others

    It's wonderful to see George's confidence grow as he travels through year 1. His enthusiasm for learning has always been evident but even more so this week, especially in maths. What a great role-model for Bats!

    Honey Bees: Liberty - Work hard and concentrate

    Liberty has focused so well in maths finding fractions of numbers and has created amazing bar models. Always enthusiastic and determined. Keep it up!

    Huskies: Madison - Work hard and concentrate

    Maddi always puts 100% into her work and is growing in confidence when it comes to sharing her achievements. Keep it up Maddi and well done!

    Otters: Brook - Work hard and concentrate

    Brook has amazed and inspired us al with the story that he has been writing at home! What an imaginative writer you are! Looking forward to the next instalment...

    Koalas: Annabelle - Improve

    Annabelle continues to improve her maths skills every week. She has a positive attitude and never gives up until she is able to understand each concept. Well done Annabelle!

    Panthers: Joe - Work hard and concentrate

    Joe has shown a lot of enthusiasm for his learning. He has really focused on his maths and topic work. Super effort Joe!

    Safia has really tired hard to improve and be the best she can be. Safia has been a kind friend and shown her maturing ability to self regulate. Well done Safia, great effort!

    Bats: Connie - Work hard and concentrate

    Connie consistently earns her reading star week by week. Her enthusiasm for stories shows in her writing as she relishes 'Big Writing' tasks every fortnight. Well done Connie!

    Honey Bees: Jake - Improve/Don't give up

    Not only do you give 100% effort in everything, you are developing confidence in discussions. What terrific progress you have made! Keep going Jake, we are very proud of you.

    Huskies: Chayton - Imagine

    Chay's 'Big Write' story was fabulous, a gripping story with lots of rainbow words! What a superstar, well done Chay and keep it up!

    Otters: Whole Class - Respect yourself and others

    Otters - you have made us so proud this week. You have worked collaboratively to achieve brilliant things and have really impressed us with the respect you have showed each other.

    Koalas: Tom - Improve

    Tom has worked really hard to master the formal method for long multiplication. Well done Tom!

    Panthers: Joe-Luca - Work hard and concentrate

    Joe-Luca has really focused on his learning, he has concentrated really well in English this week and produced an amazing' Big Write'. Well done!

    Sport Cup: Jessica - Try new things

    Jessica showed great perseverance during PE this week. She enjoyed having a go at a new section of dance, working brilliantly with her partner. She was even brave enough to help Mrs Press demonstrate some of the dance to the rest of the class. Well done Jessica!
