  Ants: henry - Work hard and concentrate / Improve

  Henry produced some excellent writing this week on our text 'The very hungry caterpillar'. Henry always pushes himself to learn more and get better at whatever he is doing. Well done!

  Giraffes: Jacob - Improve

  Jacob's independent learning this week has been outstanding, especially his writing. Keep working hard. Well done!

  Otters: Whole class - All learning behaviours

  Otter class have blown us all away with their perseverance and focus during their SAT's. They have tried their very best with big smiles throughout. You have made us so proud!

  Hummingbirds: Evie - All learning behaviours

  Evie is a shining star, a great role-model for her class. She always makes the right choices and strives to improve.

  Foxes: Eddie - Improve

  Eddie, you have astounded us all this week with the improvement in your handwriting and presentation. Keep up the hard work!

  Chipmunks: Heath - Try new things

  Heath has set lots of challenges for himself this week - had a go at lots of different tasks and shown bravery with his class discussion contributions. Well done!

  Fireflies: Edward - Improve

  Edward has made such an effort to apply his understanding independently this week and produced work to be proud of. Well done!

  Sport Cup: Poppy - Work hard and concentrate

  Poppy was amazing in football this week. She communicated with her team and demonstrated great ball control. Well done!

  Ants: Whole Class - Try new things

  Ant class were amazing on their first school trip to 'Hollow Trees Farm'. You showed wonderful manners and behaviour, and bravely fed the animals.

  Giraffes: Harry - Work hard and concentrate

  Harry, you have been pushing yourself with your writing, this is great to see. Well done for pushing yourself into the challenge zone!

  Otters: Zara - Improve / Don't give up

  Zara has wowed us with her attitude towards her learning. She is striving to improve her handwriting and showing real determination when she finds things challenging. What an amazing otter!

  Hummingbirds: Rowan - Imagine / Work hard and concentrate

  Rowan has had some super partner group discussions this week. She has showed us she makes thoughtful and valued contributions with confidence now. Well done!

  Foxes: Louis - Improve

  Louis is now contributing well in class discussions and showing great improvements with his maths work. Well done!

  Chipmunks: Oliver - Improve / Don't give up

  Oliver has been sparkling in chipmunk class this week - he has taken so many opportunities to challenge himself. Well done!

  Fireflies: Keanu - Improve

  Leaps and bounds - your journey of improvement, Keanu! You have achieved so much this week and all with a smile. Well done!

  Sport Cup: Arna - Work hard and concentrate

  Ants: Violet - Work hard and concentrate

  Everyone has noticed how wonderful Violet has been in Ant class. She has impressed us all with her hard working attitude and willingness to try new things. Keep it up!

  Giraffes: Ruby - Improve

  Ruby has been striving for accuracy with her handwriting. She blew us away with an outstanding recall of 'funny bones' in her 'Big Write' and wrote beautifully. Well done!

  Otters: Enola - Work hard and concentrate

  Enola has wowed us with her learning behaviours at home and school. We are so impressed. Keep it up!

  Hummingbirds: Rosie - Improve

  This week Rosie has made a huge effort to improve her writing, taking on all the advice she has received. Her 'Big Write' wowed us all!. Well done, Rosie!

  Foxes: Jacob - All learning behaviours

  Jacob always tries his very best  in class. But he has shown great 'Community Spirit' of late. He has marshalled the Halstead Marathon, running his own race for charity back in March. Great effort, Jacob

  Seth has shown great resilience and determination this week. He has stuck at things when finding them tricky, particularly in Maths. Well done!

  Fireflies: Whole class - All learning behaviours

  Fireflies have shone and sparkled this week. Showing incredible focus and resilience. They've encouraged and supported each other and made us all very proud!

  Elsie demonstrated super balance control during yoga this week. Well done!

  Ants: Thea - Improve / Don't give up

  Thea has been working super hard in Ants class. We have seen such an improvement in both her reading and maths. She always has such a smile on her face when she feels proud, a shining star!

  Giraffes: Nicholas - Improve

  Nicky, your determination and enthusiasm this week has been amazing. You have been striving to make good choices and contributing towards class discussions. We are so proud of you!

  Otters: Max - All learning behaviours

  Max is a shining example in otter class. He is always ready to learn and give his best, an amazing otter!

  Hummingbirds: Rosie - All learning behaviours

  Rosie always shows all our learning behaviours and has shown great resilience when approaching fractions this week!

  Foxes: Archie - All learning behaviours

  Archie is such a great example to others, his learning behaviours are superb. He contributes well in discussions and is ready to help others.

  Chipmunks: Evelyn - Try new things

  Evelyn has showed great courage this week, looking for high levels of challenge and sticking at her choices - well done!

  Ava has invested impressive time and effort in revising key areas of learning from this year - you really are a shining star!

  Esme ran her first 20M race in PE this week. We are all so proud of how hard you have worked. Well done!
