  Caterpillars: Lily - Work hard and concentrate

  Lily amazed us this week by independently completing sums! She counted two amounts, added them together and wrote her answer by finding it on a number line. Amazing Lily!

  Bats: Rhys - Improve

  Rhys has steadily been improving his handwriting since he began his new workbook. He is very proud of the work he is producing and the difference it is making to his story writing.

  Honey Bees: Alfie - Work hard and concentrate

  Amazing concentration leads to amazing work! This is certainly the case for Alfie. He never gets distracted or put off by the challenges he faces. Keep up your fabulous attitude. It is admired by many.

  Huskies: Vinnie - Work hard and concentrate

  Vinnie wowed us with his story this week. Vinnie wrote this at home and used speech marks, question marks and exclamation marks accurately. Wow Vinnie!

  Otters: Freia - Improve

  Freia is making such an effort to focus on her learning, make a positive contribution to whole class discussions and strive for accuracy.

  Koalas: Seb - Work hard and concentrate

  Seb has showed his ability to work hard and concentrate multiple times this week. He worked particularly hard in English, when he wrote an excellent alternative version of 'The three little pigs!' Well done Seb!

  Panthers: Jemima - Don't give up!

  Jemima is a really resilient learner. She really sticks at things she finds challenging and is making brilliant progress.

  Sport Cup: Jack - Try new things

  Jack tried really hard with Hockey this week and enjoyed having a go! Well done Jack, keep it up!

  Caterpillars: Abigail - Work hard and concentrate

  Abby always strives for accuracy and precision. She has blown us away with her reading and writing! This week she has produced an amazing special write. A great effort Abby.

  Bats: Emily - Work hard and concentrate

  Emily has produced an excellent story in Special Write. She described the moon and stars so well, her finest writing in year 1 so far! Well done Emily.

  Honey Bees: Erin - Respect yourself and others

  For always being kind and thoughtful, honest and gentle. We are so pleased that you are such a great role model. Keep shining!

  Huskies: Alfie - Work hard and concentrate

  Alfie worked hard to improve his writing. He is completing much more work now and the results are pleasing. Well done Alfie!

  Otters: Thomas - Improve

  Thomas is continuing to make such a noticeable effort to focus on his learning, to challenge himself and respect himself and others. Keep it up Thomas.

  Noah has had a super week. He has worked incredibly hard on listening to directions. He has focused on being ready to learn, well done!

  Lily wrote an amazing big write this week, she used pace and suspense and used a lot of imaginative vocabulary.

  Sport Cup: Alex - Work hard and concentrate

  Alex showed amazing focus and determination when learning a new dance in PE. She managed distractions around her and set a wonderful example to the rest of year 5. Well done Alex!

  Caterpillars: Sophia - Work hard and concentrate

  Sophia has really enjoyed learning the story 'Jack and the Beanstalk' with actions. She has been a great example to everyone. Great effort Sophia.

  Bats: Elis - Improve

  Elis has grown as a writer enormously this term. She acts upon advice and is improving her range of vocabulary. A very enjoyable new version of the 'Three Billy Goats Gruff' produced this week. Super star!

  Honey Bees: Amy - Perseverance

  What a fabulous week, Amy! Careful maths addition and mental maths getting better all the time! Magical Maths Amy!

  Huskies: Chloe - Work hard and concentrate

  Chloe has been amazing this week. She is really trying her best, is always one of the first to be ready to learn and enjoys her learning. Well done!

  Otters: Luca - Imagine

  Luca has wowed us with 'eggstraordinary' invention and problem solving skills - what a creative, innovative way of enabling an egg to defy gravity and escape the frying pan!

  Koalas: Thomas - Imagine

  Thomas has worked really hard this week in English. He has written a super suspense piece describing an alien landing. Well done, Thomas!

  Panthers: Angel - Work hard and concentrate

  Angel is a superb ambassador for Panthers class. She works diligently in class and gives every single lesson 100% Brilliant effort!

  Harry showed determination and perseverance during Basketball this week. Well done, Harry, keep it up!
