Headteacher Cup Winners - 1st May 2015

Pufflings:  Jack B  -  Try new things

Jack wrote down all the words of his favourite song using capital letters, finger spaces and full stops.  After singing the song to me he then performed it in front of the whole class.

Kangaroos: Tanisha  -  Respect yourself and others

We feel very proud to have Tanisha in Kangaroos class. She is showing good listening skills when she works with others to understand their ideas as well as her own.

Chipmunks:  Elijah  -  Imagine

Elijah has shown a keen interest in our history topic this week, soaking up information about Halstead in Victorian times and asking lots of questions.

Penguins:  Theo H  -  Imagine

For designing and making a fantastic Tudor house, including wooden beams and a thatched roof.

Spider Monkeys:  Emilie  -  Try new things

Emilie has been taking more risks with her learning.  She has been challenging herself and has been rewarded with great learning.

Wolves:  Chloe C  -  Work hard and concentrate

Chloe worked very hard on her research of Africa.  She amazed us with her knowledge of the animals which can be found there.  I am looking forward to reading more about them.  What a superstar!

Owls:  Isabel  -  Work hard and concentrate

Izzy always approaches her learning with enthusiasm and a huge smile, brightening up every day in Year 5!  Keep up the wonderfully positive attitude, Izzy!

Brown Bears:  Sam  -  Don’t give up!

Sam has been trying extra hard with his maths this week  -  he has been very focussed  -  keep up the hard work!

Sports Cup:  Jamie/Oskar  -  respect

Jamie is so eager to participate in P.E. lessons and sports clubs and learn how to improve his skills.  Well done, Jamie, for showing your appreciation by saying “Thank you for a lovely afternoon” to the orienteering coaches.  What a star!
